MendelNet 2026 – 33. ročník konference studentů
MendelNet je mezioborová studentská konference, která nabízí jedinečný prostor pro setkání studentů a jejich mentorů z oblastí souvisejících zejména se zemědělskou činností. Hlavním cílem konference je aktivní prezentace konkrétních výzkumných témat, sdílení poznatků a výměna zkušeností mezi účastníky napříč obory.
Prezentace jsou určeny především studentům doktorského studia (Ph.D.), prostor je však otevřen i studentům magisterských (Mgr.) a bakalářských (Bc.) programů. Konference tak podporuje mladé výzkumníky v jejich profesním růstu a podporuje mezioborový dialog.
Letošní, již 33. ročník konference, je také příležitostí k reflexi dosažených úspěchů studentů a k nastínění budoucích výzkumných vizí.
Konference má soutěžní charakter – jednotlivé příspěvky hodnotí odborné poroty podle jejich odborné úrovně a přínosu pro danou oblast. Nejlepší prezentace budou oceněny.

Registrace na MendelNet 2026
Registrace účastníků je možná do jednotlivých odborných sekcí. Organizátoři si však vyhrazují právo v opodstatněných případech zahrnout prezentujícího do jiné sekce, než je ta uvedená v registraci.
Termíny a registrační formulář
Přihlášení na konferenci probíhá výhradně prostřednictvím online registračního formuláře. Z toho důvodu je nutné dodržet stanovené termíny.
- Registrace otevřena: od 8. července do 30. září 2026.
- Datum konání konference: 4. listopadu 2026.

Podmínky aktivní účasti
Aktivní účast na konferenci bude účastníkům potvrzena prostřednictvím certifikátu. Aby vám mohl být certifikát vydán, je nutné splnit následující podmínky:
- Registrace: Řádné vyplnění online registračního formuláře.
- Anotace: Odevzdání anotace příspěvku (v případě zájmu účastníka bude zveřejněna ve sborníku).
- Prezentace: Aktivní vystoupení v anglickém jazyce v rozsahu 15 minut (10 minut prezentace + 5 minut diskuse).
Důležité informace o účasti
Účast na konferenci je bezplatná. Zajištění ubytování pro případné zájemce je plně v jejich režii.

It provides a platform for research aimed at balancing agricultural productivity with ecological stability, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable rural development in the face of global environmental change.
We invite submissions and reports in these key thematic areas:
- Landscape Ecology & Environmental Restoration:
- Dynamic changes in rural landscape structures and land-use patterns, alongside their direct consequences for biodiversity and ecosystem resilience.
- Landscape planning, land remediation, and the revitalization of degraded terrestrial and freshwater systems.
- Soil conservation strategies, focusing on water and wind erosion dynamics and the application of predictive erosion models.
- Climatology, Hydrology & Crop Modeling:
- The impacts of climate change on agroecosystems, including the intensifying pressures of drought, aridity, and desertification.
- Soil-water balance dynamics, groundwater and surface water quality, and the strategic perspectives and modern problems surrounding irrigation systems.
- The use of predictive crop modeling to simulate plant responses to shifting environmental stressors and water availability.
- Rural Development & Circular Economy:
- All aspects of sustainable waste management, organic recycling, and circular bioeconomy approaches in agriculture.
- Multifunctional utilization of the countryside, supporting the economic and social vitality of small towns and peripheral regions.
- Investigating the pressures and socio-ecological problems connected with the process of suburbanization at the rural-urban interface.
This section centers on the molecular and cellular foundations of animal systems, exploring the fundamental mechanisms that govern animal life, health, and diversity. We highly encourage submissions that leverage innovative, state-of-the-art techniques to answer complex biological questions. The scope of accepted experimental methodologies includes but is not limited to advanced omics & molecular biology, high-resolution imaging, and cellular & tissue mapping.
Contributions are welcome across a wide range of biological disciplines, including:
- Cellular & Developmental Biology: Animal cytology, cell biology, immunology, and developmental biology.
- Physiology & Genetics: Organismal and cellular physiology, classical and molecular genetics.
- Biodiversity & Evolution: Animal biotechnology, biodiversity studies, and molecular taxonomy.
This section bridges terrestrial and aquatic animal sciences, offering a comprehensive platform for research into the breeding, nutrition, reproduction, and health of managed and wild species. It highlights sustainable production systems, natural resource management, and the ecological frameworks that support animal life.
We invite submissions and reports detailing empirical research, technological innovations, and environmental assessments across the following areas:
- Husbandry, Nutrition & Breeding: Advanced genetics, reproductive technologies, optimized nutrition, and intensive/extensive production modeling for both land animals and fish.

This section encompasses a broad spectrum of plant sciences, welcoming contributions that advance our understanding of developmental biology, physiology, stress responses, systems biology, taxonomy, and plant biodiversity. The session aims to bridge the gap between traditional botanical observations and cutting-edge approaches, exploring how plants function, adapt, and evolve.
We encourage submissions utilizing diverse and innovative methodologies. The scope of accepted experimental approaches includes, but is not limited to:
- Phenotypic & Structural Analysis: From foundational phenotypic characterization to advanced image analysis, high-resolution confocal microscopy, and electron microscopy for deep molecular and cellular studies.
- Omics & Molecular Biology: Modern breeding and biotechnology approaches, including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics.

This section addresses the core challenges, practices, and innovations in modern crop management. It covers the entire lifecycle of plant production – from breeding and cultivation to soil fertility, fertilization strategies, and comprehensive plant protection. The session welcomes research across all crop management practices and plant categories, including arable field crops (cereals, oilseeds, legumes, forages and industrial crops), specialty crops (vegetables; fruits; ornamental plants; medicinal, aromatic, and spice herbs), and permanent crops (vineyards, orchards, and grasslands).
We invite submissions detailing empirical research, long-term trials, and technological advancements in the following fields:
- Advanced Cultivation Technologies: Sustainable land management, long-term agricultural experiments, impacts of soil tillage, crop rotation and use of cover crops, life cycle assessment (LCA) for crop production, and the implementation of precision farming and smart agriculture.
- Soil Science & Nutrition: Pedology, soil health, dynamic tracking of soil organic matter, carbon sequestration, advanced methods for assessment of plant nutritional status, and integrated nutrient management.

This section is dedicated to exploring the complex dynamics and challenges facing wildlife populations at the intersection of managed human landscapes and natural ecosystems. It addresses the critical role of wildlife management in the contexts of agriculture, forestry, and biological conservation, focusing on how species interact with, adapt to, or are impacted by land-use practices.
The session welcomes comprehensive studies on biology, ethology (animal behavior), and biodiversity of all animal species.
We strongly encourage submissions that look beyond isolated populations to address broader ecosystem health and conservation strategies. We highly welcome:
