On March 10, 2023, nine students and two staff members from the LSU College of Agriculture embarked on a spring break study abroad to the Czech Republic. After several years of COVID-19 restrictions, we were thankful for the opportunity to travel to learn about and experience agriculture in another country.
These students enrolled in a one-hour course, AGRI 3900, this spring semester to prepare for their time abroad. From Czech vocabulary lessons to group presentations on Czech agriculture, geography, history and more, students developed a baseline knowledge of the Czech Republic prior to their spring break experience.
This website highlights the class’s final project – a digital storytelling assignment. Throughout the trip, each student was assigned a specific day to document. Visit our travel blog to learn about our experiences in Prague and Brno!
